In 2022 I exhibited my scaffolding project at De Verffabriek in Ghent. The work itself consists of interventions I made on scaffoldings around Ghent, therefore the architectural experience is essential to the artwork. I explored the medium of the exhibition to further develop the project, as I didn’t want it to be only a showcasing of images of my work.
I made in-situ installations with pieces of the cut-out fabric of the original works which relate themselves to the (objects in the) space of De Verffabriek, mirroring the way the original work in public space plays with its environment and the people in it.
